Our client is looking for a Senior International Mobility Advisor !
Experience
- Responsible for compliance, governance, and operational execution of international assignments and cross-border work situations on a global scope.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Global Mobility strategies aligned with business objectives, supporting talent management and organizational growth.
- Ensure due diligence and compliance of international assignments with local and international social, legal, and tax regulations, as well as internal policies and processes.
- Act as a primary point of contact for international assignees, providing guidance and support throughout the assignment lifecycle, including immigration, relocation, mobility, payroll, and tax matters.
- Perform upfront analysis of contractual and assignment structures for new international missions and conduct research on tax-related issues impacting international assignees.
- Prepare, instruct, and review cost calculations for international assignments, collaborating with business and commercial teams for integration into project bids.
- Partner with internal stakeholders such as HR, Finance, Legal, and Tax teams to address complex mobility cases and deliver effective solutions.
- Instruct and review expatriate payroll implementation in both home and host countries and act as the main liaison with payroll providers.
- Coordinate recurring performance management cycles for international assignees.
- Monitor regulatory changes, market trends, and industry benchmarks, and recommend improvements to mobility policies and processes.
- Collaborate with external service providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service delivery and manage escalations when required.
Skills
- Strong expertise in international mobility management and expatriation programs.
- Excellent command of MS Office 365, with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables).
- Solid knowledge of international taxation and global compensation practices.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing mobility programs in a multinational environment.
- Good understanding of social security legislation in several European countries (asset).
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in international mobility management or compensation & benefits within a large multinational organization or a major consulting firm.
- Strong analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and rigor.
